What stops you to be successful in life?

Who is responsible for your success in life?

We all aspire to do, be, and have great things. We all want to be successful in life. Yet most of us simply didn’t succeed.

One of the greatest myths that is pervasive in our culture today is the idea that you are entitled to a great life – and that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, nurturing family time, and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist.

But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live. That person is you. Everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing. Income. Debt. Relationships. Health. Fitness level. Attitudes and behaviours. Building An Online Business

What can we do about it?

“There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.” – Ray Goforth

Improving your life doesn’t have to be about making one big gesture. Instead, it’s something you can constantly work on—and it typically comes down to the small things you do every day:

  • get to know yourself
  • treat yourself
  • revisit your goals
  • connect with an old friend or new co-worker
  • achieve mindfulness
  • spend more time with your loved ones

Of course it’s hard to think about self-improvement when there’s work and family and bills to pay. We complain that we don’t have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives. We point fingers and blame outside problems that “happen” to us and make life more difficult. But what we need to understand and keep at the forefront of our minds is that greatness exists in all of us. It is simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves.

Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world. But today, they’re learning that instead we respond to what the brain, based on previous experience, expects to happen next. In fact, the mind is such a powerful instrument, it can deliver literally everything you want. But you have to believe that what you want is possible.

Sometimes, to become successful and get closer to the person we can become, we don’t need to add more things — we need to give up on some of them like:

  • unhealthy lifestyle
  • short –term mindset
  • playing small
  • fixed mindset
  • saying Yes to things that don’t support your goals
  • believing in the “Magic Bullet”
  • dependency on social media and television
  • toxic people

You can give up on some of them today, while it might take a bit longer to give up on others.

If you’re not where you want to be in your career – or, for that matter, in your life – never let yourself believe change is impossible. Don’t allow your future to be limited by your age or your situation; stop being afraid of what might go wrong and start getting excited about what could go right.

  1. I agree with what you said here, Ion but I want to complete one thing. In the struggle of man to success and happiness, there are some unexpected moments and situations that go beyond our physical and intellectual capacity and at such moments the only solution we have is God and faith in Him.
The steps you have mentioned and faith in God are necessary things and not alternatives, they must exist and work together!
I am proud to have such colleagues, as much inspiration and wisdom on farther!

  2. Hello, Johny! My opinion is as follow: we, as human beings, have fears, barriers, we are the slaves of our own limits, prejudgments. In order to succeed, we have to fight them and to defeat them.. It is not by accident said that the greatest victory in life is the victory over yourself.
